Last month, OnePlus made the Nord Buds official as the cheapest TWS pair of gems ever. They were initially launched in India starting at INR 3,000, which is around $ 38 at the current exchange rate.
Today the company revealed that North Buds are coming to North America. They will be available in both the United States and Canada in mid-June. An exact release date has not been provided at the moment, but we have the price. Nord Buds will cost just $ 39 in the US and CAD 49 in Canada. This is really cheap and virtually zero markup compared to the Indian price, not something we’re used to seeing very often.
Nord Buds feature titanium-coated 12.4mm dynamic drivers, 2 headset microphones, IP55 rated for water and dust resistance, and support SBC and AAC codecs. Battery life is 7 hours for audio playback and 3.5 hours for phone calls. The combined audio playback time when including the case battery reaches 30 hours. The case charges via USB-C.
